Borders & Corners Tip Sheet :
1. If you would like to place an image inside one of the borders, stamp the central image
first followed by the border.
2. To use a border image in conjunction with a scalloped punch, it is easiest to stamp the
image first and then invert your punch so you can see exactly what you’re punching.
3. Try nesting the borders within one another, largest to smallest.
4. You can insert brads, eyelets or tiny buttons in each of the four corners of the “ticket”
borders.
5. Stamp any of the dotted borders with versamark and use it as a paper piercing guide.
6. For the borders that are double-lined, try using markers to ink the individual lines for a
two-toned look.
7. Or you can try stamping the same image twice, each time using a different color. Then
trim one of them to just outside the first set of lines. You can then mat it on top of the
remaining border. You will get the two-toned look without using markers.
8. May of the images in these sets coordinate with Making Memories Tag Rims.
9. You can pierce holes in between each of the stitches in the stitched borders. It will
make the hand-sewn look more realistic.
10. Any of the border images would be a perfect addition to gift tags or labels for jars.

Small Accent Image Ideas
1. Use them in the four corners of a border image.
2. You can punch out one of the larger scalloped shapes from cardstock and stamp in
each individual scallop.
3. You can stamp over each dot in any of the largest dotted borders. For example, the
flowers would work perfectly, with the original dots looking like flower centers.
4. Use them as the perfect finishing touch on either side of a word or sentiment.
5. Create some fun patterned paper by adhering several of the small images on a block
together to form your own background stamp.
