Design inspiration can manifest itself through anything. The repetitive pattern I
formed for this card was influenced by an antique wooden rolling pin. An engaging
pattern of interlocking rings and circles was inlaid into its surface. It was well worn,
and one couldn’t help but wonder how many hands had utilized it. What delicacies
had been rolled out years ago. I knew the design could be preserved and
interpreted with vibrant colors for a unique twist. The results proved to be just
what I had envisioned!
