These cases are made of a clear plastic that is
approximately twice as strong and durable as a
standard CD case.

There is no "open space" at the spine, like
standard cases and they actually can stand up
easel style. In place of the open space that is
normally there, you will see a small insert ridge.
This ridge can be used to hold and display artwork,
photos, calenders (hence the name) or anything
else your creative brain can imagine!
