My one true love is stamping. I live and breathe this art form. It is a dream come true to be designing the images that I have always wanted to use. We will release a BRAND NEW stamp set on the 15th of each month.
There are several characteristics integrated into our product any stamper will appreciate. During my design process, I dissect every element of an image and develop it into a separate stamp. This allows you to stamp all of the individual parts of an image in different colors without any extra effort. The clear nature of acrylic stamps makes it simple to perfectly place each detail as you build your stamped image on paper. Designed for a stamper by a stamper!
STORAGE: My favorite method of storing acrylic stamps is in clear CD jewel cases. They provide more stability, convenience & longevity than a standard transparency sheet can. A complimentary jewel case is included with each stamp set we sell. Purchase or re-purpose an inexpensive CD tower or rack to hold your entire text-style acrylic stamps collection. In addition, this system of storage allows for a beautiful, uniform appearance when several sets are displayed together.
To transfer your new stamps into their proper home, simply open the jewel case, peel the stamps from their current transparent sheet and stick them to the interior of the case. We have included a clear label to use on the spine of the case for easy identification. Adhere the label in place simply trimming the excess with scissors.
USAGE: You will need an acrylic block to use the stamp images. These are available at most large craft stores. Choose one with grid lines for ease in lining up images. Decide what images you would like to use together. Remove them from your jewel case and stick them to the block surface. When using multiple images together, try a variety of arrangements. Look through the reverse side of the block as you are adjusting so you can see exactly how the images will appear when stamped.
Pigment, chalk, and hybrid inks are my first choice when choosing a medium to use in conjunction with acrylic stamps. These products are slightly thicker than ordinary dye inks and coat the stamps well. Their use also eliminates the “pooling” that sometimes occurs with dye inks, therefore helping to ensure a perfectly stamped image every time.
INSPIRATION: Be sure to visit the InkPad, an exclusive online gallery featuring project ideas created by our talented design team. Copy a single creation, incorporate characteristics from several projects or alter one design to include your own signature touch. Either way, the InkPad is a wonderful springboard to help you begin any project. It is updated monthly, so be sure to visit often!
Thank-you for your interest in text-style acrylic stamps! Enjoy!
