Autumn Adornments Tip Sheet :

1. All three of the borders can be embellished with the tiny daisies, leaves, acorns or
pumpkins included in the set.

2. The bold dot border and stitched border will look amazingwhen heat embossed in a
trendy metallic or a bold white.

3. Use these embellishment borders above and/or below a sentiment, or even on either
side. Sometimes they can serve as corner embellishments too!

4. A few dots with Liquid Pearls on each of the berries of the leaf border can add a bit of
dimension and contrasting color.

5. After stamping the leaf border, you can go back in with the individual smaller leaves in
a darker color and stamp them on top of the larger leaves. The layering will add more
dimension and help you to incorporate more of those pretty autumn colors!

6. When adding the small daisies to any of your borders, try stamping them multiple times
without re-inking, rotating the stamp just a bit after each impression. You will get a softer
look as well as a fuller bloom that will look similar to a mum.

7. The tiny daisies, leaves, acorns or pumpkins can be added to either end of the
underline incorporated into the sentiments for added detail.

8. Small adhesive rhinestones or pearls can be added to some of the larger dots in the
bold dot border to add emphasis.

9. Have fun with a watercolor resist technique and any of the borders by heat embossing
them in white on white cardstock. Each of the borders would take on a whole new look!

10. To help stamp the borders straight, draw a line in pencil on your card front using a
ruler. Since the borders are nearly symmetrical, just find a point of reference on either
side and align them with your pencil line. Erase your pencil line when finished.

This set comes on a single 4x6 acetate sheet. The leaf border measures 3 1/4" long and 1 1/2" tall. The bold dot border measures 2 1/2" wide and 1 3/8" tall. The stitched border measures 2 1/4" wide and 3/4" tall. "Thanksgiving Blessings" measures 2 3/8" wide and 1" tall. "Thankful for you" measures 2 1/8" wide and 1" tall.
